The Scoop on LSAT Sample
Questions
LSAT is one of the difficult but necessary to pass exams. A
passing score in LSAT or Law School Admission Test is most
coveted (at least by anyone aspiring to be a lawyer) as it is an
admission requirement of the LSAC member schools. Lawyers have
to have a high level of logical reasoning. It is actually a
requirement of the trade. Law schools use LSAT as the standard
in measuring the suitability of the applicants. The examination
gives more importance to the ability of the exam taker to
analyze and solve the given problem at the shortest time
possible. This will be a learned skill and just like any other
learned skill, the ability to solve logical problems fast is
honed by constant practice. A law school applicant has to answer
a lot of LSAT sample questions.
LSAT is unlike other examinations that can be taken again and
again if the student flunks the exam or if he is not satisfied
with the score. Taking LSAT several times can actually be
disadvantageous to the student as the school would get the
average of the all the scores. A student therefore has to
prepare before sitting for the exam. This preparation must be
done months before taking the exam. Preparation can be done
through a prep course, by using prep books and by repeatedly
answering LSAT sample questions. A prep course,
especially a one on one tutoring can be expensive. An online
prep course is an alternative. Self-study is another LSAT prep
option. However, this option would only work if the student is
very determined, disciplined and has admirable study habits. If
this is the option taken, a test prep book will be very useful.
Cramming is definitely not for LSAT. To get good scores, the
student should practice…practice and practice. A prep course
will improve the student’s ability to solve the problems fast.
Logic problems are not limitless. These problems get repeated
year after year. The figures, the scenario and the words may be
different but a student that has come across similar situations
by answering LSAT sample questions would already have an
idea how the problem should be tackled.

Another trick to improve the score is to use a stop
watch during the practice sessions. LSAT is timed.
It is imperative for the student to answer the
problem within the allotted time. Again, practice
would improve the student’s skill. A good set of
LSAT sample questions can go a long way, however
there are other tools that you should have in your
lsat sample questions study tool kit to increase the
chances of success, I like thing such a flash cards,
memory games and having a friend quiz me, that in
addition to these practice questions should set you
on the road to a great score.
